Frequently Asked Questions

?Which directions does the solver search?
All eight: left to right, right to left, top to bottom, bottom to top, and all four diagonals.
?Does capitalization or punctuation matter?
No. Letters are matched case insensitively, and spaces, hyphens, accents, and punctuation are ignored, so "New York" matches NEWYORK in the grid.
?What if a word appears more than once?
Every occurrence is highlighted at once. Hover a word to see only its matches, and any word the grid does not contain is marked with a red cross.
?Is my puzzle uploaded anywhere?
No. The grid, the word list, and the solving all stay in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
